Deltics
3rd October 2006

Unfortunately I missed photographing the Deltics in everyday BR service. I do however class them as among my favourite type of loco and I photograph them now whenever opportunity presents. Luckily they have been used regularly on charter workings since some of them were fortunately preserved. They have also appeared at various preserved railway galas. Both those types of workings are featured here, although I'm not personally a fan of heritage railway diesel galas, due to remembering the real thing! Deltics though are always worth a sight (and sound!) I hope you enjoy these humble efforts.
