31431 tows a failed Class 101 DMU out of Leeds on 14th July 1989. The train was a Leeds to Sheffield service. This kind of thing was fairly common at this period, as the first-generation DMUs became increasingly unreliable.

31434 and 31456 are about to leave Leeds with 1E33 16.35 Carlisle to Hull on the 17th May 1985.

37003 & 37223 pass Low Moor between Halifax and Bradford on the 9th July 1994 with the "Trans-Pennine Freighter" railtour. It had gone into Bradford behind a Class 56 and then reversed it's route behind this fine pair.

56092 is seen near Dryclough Junction as it approaches Halifax with the "Trans-Pennine Freighter" charter of the 9th July 1994. The train was bound for Bradford on another grey day!

56094 "Eggborough Power Station" clags away from Bradford Interchange with the "Yorkshire Doodle Dandy" railtour of the 13th July 1996. The train had come over Copy Pit in foul weather behind a pair of 31s, which are just visible in the background.

56120 is coupled to the stock of the "Calder Revolver" railtour on the 23rd September 2000. It had come into Bradford (the location of the photo) behind a Class 60 and was about to head back to Birmingham via the Calder Valley line. Unfortunately an attempt to photograph it as it came through Halifax, failed, as I was dithering about trying to find a location.
