37069 awaits departure from Huddersfield with 1Z61. 18/8/06. It was supposed to be in the company of 20310, but due to the failure of 37038 on the other DRS special, the plan was changed and 37069 ran back to Crewe solo.

37069 runs into Huddersfield with 1Z51 15.32 York to Crewe DRS special on the 18th August 2006. Note the suggestion of a rainbow above the loco.

37406 "The Saltire Society" leads 1Z50 07.00 Liverpool Lime Street to York "Pennine Syphons" railtour past Gledholt Junction, Huddersfield on the 24th June 2006. 37417 brings up the rear. At York the 37's were reconfigured and ran double-headed to Carlisle via the S & C.

37428 leads 37427 downhill through Saddleworth with 1Z37 04.16 Linlithgow to Shrewsbury on the 31st May 2003. SRPS tours don't often get this far south - let alone over Diggle!

37519 catches the early afternoon light at Golcar with 6E45 10.25 Folly Lane to Haverton Hill. 6/2/88.

47466 passes Midge Hill, Mossley with the Glasgow to Harwich "European" which was being diverted via Standedge on this occasion. 19/4/87. The reason for all the people scattered around the lineside is that the next train past this spot was hauled by 4472 "Flying Scotsman". The bloke in the foreground shepherding the girl back out of shot is a famous railway photographer from Hathersage. Does anyone recognise him? (clue: he still wears the same coat to this day).
