37408 "Loch Rannoch" was one of my favourite locos when it carried "large-logo" livery, so I was very pleased to obtain this shot at Llanfairfechan on the 19th August 1995. It was at the head of 1K61 10.23 Bangor to Crewe. Later of course the loco became "famous" for it's work on the Arriva S & C trains and in the Welsh Valleys. It was sadly withdrawn in 2006, after suffering damage in a shunting accident. RIP
