43098 & 43063 pass Saltney Junction with 1D87 08.25 Euston to Holyhead on the 16th October 1999.Previous | Next45106 was re-painted in (the wrong shade of) green in 1988. It was destined as a replacement for D200, which had just been withdrawn. However fate intervened and the loco suffered a major fire shortly after this shot was taken, so the plan didn't happen. The location is Liverpool Lime Street on the 10th September 1988.
